The area around the villa

Kumo Villas are located in Agios Pavlos with a frontal sea view of the southern Cretan sea.

The villa is located in Agios Pavlos area and just 450 meters from the Villa, within walking distance, there is a beautiful rocky cove where you can go swim, as well as the small beach of Aniforas. Also, the famous sand dunes’ beach of Agios Pavlos is only 4 km away. In the village of Agios Pavlos guests can also find a traditional taverna and a mini market and it’s also famous as a meeting point for yoga workshops.

Furthermore, picturesque villages and beaches can be easily reached after a short drive, such as Triopetra and Agia Galini. In Agia Galini settlement guests can also find many shops, bakeries, super markets and tavernas. Additionally the well known village of Spili which also has all the amenities and a health centre is located around 26 km away. In addition, the location is a great base for those who want to visit the amazing natural beaches of south Crete such as Triopetra, Ligres, Agia Foteini, Preveli, Schinaria, Damnoni, Souda and Plakias.

The area around the villas is totally in nature and quiet and you will be able to relax and feel “away from it all” from the first moment of your arrival. It is one of the best locations if you seek to stay away from the tourist areas of Crete.  If you like adventure, the location also offers the advantage of exploring the unique natural environment of Crete’s inland. Explore the villages, interact with the locals, find taverns with real Cretan cuisine and products, walk in the gorges around or find some totally isolated beaches!
